CHIEF ACCOUNTANT - Ref: 928812. AED 30,000 - AED 35,000 Plus Benefits. Location: Dubai. Charterhouse is working with a leading local group business. Our client is looking to hire a Chief Accountant to overview and manage their financial accounting and business support reporting team. Inheriting a team of five Accountants, you will oversee transactional accounting and statutory reporting operations whilst managing all areas of account reconciliation and the closure of financial statements on a monthly basis. You will also ensure adherence to all accounting policies, for both group compliance and external audit and regulatory procedures. In addition, you will support the Finance Manager in the production and review of consolidated financial statements across business units, coupled with attached commentaries for MIS purposes. The successful candidate should be a professionally qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or CMA) and have up to 10 years' experience, part of which should be from within a commercial finance operation. You should have a proven track record in financial accounting combined with an exposure to audit functions from within a Blue Chip or Big Four entity. The nature of this business demands excellent communication skills to allow for strong reporting in support of Senior Management and stakeholders.
